- Position: SIA Licensed Security Checkpoint Officer
- Hours: 42 hours per week (days and nights)
- Shift pattern: 4 on, 4 off, 0500‑1700 and 1700‑0500

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills and strong customer focus
- Valid SIA Front‑Line License (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and perform under pressure
- Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
- Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards
Responsibilities:
- Provide access and egress controls to ensure only authorised persons and visitors are allowed on site in compliance with the site access policy
- Ensure all heavy goods vehicles entering and leaving the site comply with Dispatch Control procedures to detect and deter criminal activity
- Provide access control over all traffic movements to ensure vehicles are correctly registered and authorised to be on site
- Conduct random vehicle searches to detect and deter theft of property and acts of terrorism
- Monitor driver behaviour to ensure compliance with the on‑site driving policy, including utilising the UNIPAR speed gun to monitor speed limits
- When required, conduct random foot and vehicle patrols to deter and detect theft, vandalism, sabotage and terrorism
- Perform ad‑hoc duties as required
