Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an accustomed CCTV Operator to detect and prevent accidents, crimes and incidents happening on one of our esteemed sites.

You will be working an average of 42 hours per week on a 4 days, 4 off, 4 nights, 4 off rotation.

Shifts will be 08:00 – 20:00 / 20:00 – 08:00.

What you will need

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
  • Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor & Licence
  • Previous control room experience – desirable
  • Previous CCTV System experience – desirable
  • Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e. g. Excel)
  • Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards

What you will do

  • Liaise on a daily basis with peers, operational management teams and the client
  • Operate, monitor and prioritise all security systems located within the Security Control Room in an effective manner
  • Manage Access and Egress in line with site specific Assignment Instructions
  • Monitor and interact with CCTV
  • Record all events and actions monitored from within the control room
  • Respond and react to any incidents, alarms or security issues that may arise
  • Report any faults with the technology following the escalation process
  • Work alongside the emergency services and other security providers to ensure high standards
  • Produce written reports on incidents and occurrences in line with client requirements and company standards
  • Ensure safety of all persons on site
  • Issue Contractor Passes and ensure any and all contractors have the required paperwork to carry out work
  • Control the issue of keys held by the security team
  • Ensure compliance with fire evacuation processes and procedures
  • Perform ad hoc duties as directed
