We are looking for an experienced CCTV Control Room Operator in Salford, Manchester to detect and prevent accidents, crimes and incidents happening on one of our esteemed sites. You will work 48 hrs per week covering a mixed shift pattern of days and nights: 0700‑1900/1900‑0700.

What You Will Need

  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • Must hold a valid SIA CCTV Licence – essential.
  • Previous control room experience – essential.
  • Previous CCTV system experience – essential.
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel).
  • Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards.

What Are You Going To Do

  • Liaise on a daily basis with peers, operational management teams and the client.
  • Operate, monitor and prioritise all security systems located within the Control Centre in an effective manner, ensuring that all work is undertaken in compliance with the site‑specific assignment instructions and current legislation.
  • Manage Access and Egress in line with site specific Assignment Instructions.
  • Record all events and actions monitored from within the control room.
  • Respond and react to any incidents or security issues that may arise.
  • Report any faults with the technology following the escalation process.
  • Work alongside the emergency services and other security providers to ensure high standards.
  • Produce written reports on incidents and occurrences in line with client requirements and company standards.
  • Ensure safety of all persons on site.
  • Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed.
