The predicted salary is between 10.8 - 13.2 £ per hour.

We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to be trained and required to work at several of our client's premises to assist us with holiday and sickness cover, with a view to being allocated a fixed shift pattern, when the opportunities arise.,

  • Control access to the site, monitor entrances/exits
  • Greet staff and visitors in a professional manner
  • Act as the front-line security presence
  • Main Security POC for TV production team
  • Issue building passes, ensuring everyone that has been validated prior to entry. Maintain an accurate log of all passes
  • Operate the access control system, ensuring only authorised personnel have access to restricted areas
  • Conduct card audits to ensure records are kept up to date
  • Monitor events and alarms on the access control system
  • Maintain visual on CCTV cameras. Identify and act on suspicious activity
  • Respond to incidents within the building efficiently
  • Escalate major incidents to relevant management or emergency services
  • Coordinate incidents with the rest of the team, management & emergency services
  • Complete incident reports
  • Carry out thorough patrols of the premises, reporting any Health & Safety issues, threats or faults
  • Maintain a daily occurrence log of events
  • Ensure a smooth handover is made on shift changeover
  • Report any faults, safety hazards or suspicious activities seen
  • Manage the issuing of keys
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
  • A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential
  • Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure.
  • Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e. g. Excel)
  • Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards
