The predicted salary is between 24000 - 36000 Β£ per year.
We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide a secure and safe environment for all staff & visitors on site. This will be achieved through applying thorough access control procedures, carrying out site inductions, planned & ad-hoc site patrols together with other duties as determined by the Assignment Instructions. In the event of an emergency follow prescribed escalation/communication procedures with Site Management, Corps colleagues and the emergency services.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring and surveillance of CCTV systems to maintain security and safety.
- Managing access control and preparing reports to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Overseeing access control procedures, including issuing passes, and supervising entry points.
- Use of security systems, including visitor management tools and electronic logging systems.
- Front-of-house/concierge duties, offering a welcoming and professional meet-and-greet service.
- Incident response, including escalation and liaison with emergency services when required.
- Regular patrols of internal and external areas.
- Accurate report writing, including incident logs, daily occurrence reports, and handover notes.
- Customer service and conflict management, ensuring a calm and professional approach at all times.
- Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
Qualifications
- A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential
- A valid SIA CCTV License - essential
- Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure.
- Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel).
- Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards.
Employment details
You will be working an average of 42.5 hours per week covering days and nights. Shift pattern will be: 4 on, 4 off 0630-1830 and 1830-0630.
