We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Team Leader in Westhoughton, Bolton to oversee the performance and upkeep of the security function on one of our esteemed clients' premises. You will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of your team and ensure all colleagues are adhering to their duties and maintaining a high level of professionalism and security presence. You will work - 42hrs per week, 4on, 4off days and nights, 0700-1900/1900-0700, Responsibilities Supervise daily security team operations, ensuring the team are fulfilling all their daily tasks and adhering to Assignment Instructions and Corps Security policies. Monitor surveillance and alarm systems and respond to any security breaches/incidents in an efficient and timely manner - ensuring escalation processes are adhered to. To lead, manage and motivate direct reports including goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, coaching and development training, and monitor attendance/timekeeping. Prompt and accurate submission of all necessary reports and performance measurement documentation to the appropriate departments. To monitor all staff and contractor activities on the site including the 'control of contractors', recording of method statements and risk assessments. Liaise with law enforcement, emergency services, and relevant stakeholders during emergencies. Regularly inspect security equipment (e.g. CCTV, Access Control, Alarms) and ensure proper functioning and upkeep. Investigate any security incidents, accidents, and breaches, preparing comprehensive reports with improvement recommendations. Ensure effective communication across departments with integrating security measures into all operational factors, including events, facility management, and safety or all persons on site. Stay up to date with security trends, technologies, and regulations, providing recommendations for system and procedural improvements. Ad-hoc duties as and when required. Qualifications Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus. A valid SIA Front-Line License - essential. A Full UK Driving License - desirable. Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels. Ability to work to deadlines, multitasking and working under pressure. Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel). Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards, SC and Bank of England Clearance required / UK residence requirement - 5 year before date of employment.
