We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Relief Security Officer in Leicester to provide holiday and sickness cover across client premises, with potential for a fixed shift pattern when opportunities arise. Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus are essential. You will work various hours per week and remain flexible to cover days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities
- Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular site patrols and recording these as per Corps and Customer requirements.
- Ensuring all visitors and contractors to the site are correctly briefed, sign in and out of the site.
- Record the entry and exit of deliveries whilst on site, including processing of paperwork in line with site quality procedures.
- Ensure patrols are carried out to the correct standards.
- Set and unset primary and secondary alarm security systems for out‑of‑hours security provision if applicable.
- Comply with site waste management procedures.
- Complete documents as required, including daily occurrence logs, shift handovers, incident/accident records, and any site‑specific reports.
- Ensure familiarity with Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments, and other quality & safety documents; advise Corps Duty Manager and/or client personnel on any changes or recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain personal training records via the Corps Colleague Portal so that skills remain up to date, particularly first aid and fire marshal training in accordance with legislative guidelines.
- Continuously apply SIA skills, maintaining a high level of professionalism; your SIA licence must always be displayed.
- Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed.
Qualifications
- A valid SIA Front‑Line Licence - essential.
- A Full UK Manual Driving Licence - essential.
- Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitask, and work under pressure.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft software packages (e.g., Excel).
- Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards.
