We are looking for a SIA Licenced Duty Manager to support Site Officers, colleagues and customers in delivering security and business support services within the region.
Shifts & Schedule
Average 42 hours per week on a 4 on 4 off rota. Days only shifts: 05:30‑17:30 or 10:30‑22:30 rotation.
Responsibilities
- Manage all operational colleagues and ensure a full understanding of functions including manned guarding, electronic solutions (CCTV and Access Control), key holding, post room, reception and general business support.
- Liaise with customers and key clients on a regular basis to review and record contract performance, maintain quality standards and support contract retention.
- Plan and oversee manning levels for contracted, ad‑hoc and special events; recruit, screen and vet staff with Administrators and Central Support to ensure sufficient and suitable relief staff.
- Conduct direct visits to ensure the safety and well‑being of customer staff and Corps colleagues.
- Maintain all key‑holding documents (Assignment Instructions, key receipts, risk assessments, contact details).
- Lead weekend day patrols, alarm response, unlock/lock operations.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Valid SIA Front‑Line and CCTV Licence.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the security guarding sector.
- Previous experience in a similar or supervisory role.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards.
