What you will need:
- Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus.
- A valid SIA Front-Line License – essential.
- A valid UK Driving License – desirable.
- A valid First-Aid qualification – essential.
- Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels.
- Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure.
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Software Packages (e.g. Excel).
- Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 Standards and SC clearance standards.
What are you going to do:
- Validation and verification of Safe and Secure Security networks.
- Front of House and Loading Bay duties.
- Ensuring a duty of care to all on-site staff.
- Security oversight on the delivery of contract work.
- Observations and near‑miss reporting including reporting of any incidents.
- Escorting and supervision when prohibited items are brought on or taken off the floor.
- Safe and Secure checks (taking over from Security Audit) and receipting.
- Reporting any breaches of security.
- Control of the site cameras and booking system including conducting CCTV investigations when required or instructed.
- Maintain all security‑related documentation for audit purposes.
- Respond to emergencies and assist with the evacuation and searching of the buildings by following the requirements of the site Emergency response procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the highest security levels are in production.
- Assist with Safe and Secure training and cover where necessary.
- Perform ad hoc duties as directed.
