About the Role
At CSC, we are the largest Capital Markets administration team in Jersey, handling a diverse portfolio of clients across debt capital markets, structured finance, and asset‑backed securities. Our client accounting team plays a key role in supporting these structures with bookkeeping, management accounts and financial statement preparation. We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team and develop their careers in accounting while working towards a professional qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with bookkeeping for a portfolio of Capital Markets clients within agreed deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records in accounting software and Excel.
- Support the production of extended trial balances and financial reports.
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts and year‑end financial statements.
- Help with audit queries and ad‑hoc accounting tasks.
- Work closely with senior team members, demonstrating a proactive and professional approach.
- Build strong relationships with your team and clients.
- Take ownership of your professional development, with full study support for a relevant accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA).
- Accurately record billable time on client work.
Your Profile
- A Level equivalent, or Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Bachelor's or Master's).
- Keen to study towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA support provided).
- IT proficient, with good Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Self‑motivated and able to balance work and study.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and numeracy skills.
