This role partners closely with clients, auditors, tax advisers, and internal stakeholders to strengthen service delivery, improve controls, and support growth. You will also coach and develop team leaders and individual contributors in line with CSC values.
Key Responsibilities

- Own end‑to‑end delivery for assigned client portfolios, including NAVs, management accounts, investor reporting, and statutory financial statements.
- Oversee day‑to‑day fund accounting operations (bookkeeping, reconciliations, NAV calculations, investor allocations) and set clear timelines and quality standards.
- Perform and oversee technical reviews under IFRS and UK GAAP, and provide client‑facing guidance on accounting matters and service enhancements.
- Perform and oversee registration and filings with HMRC for a portfolio of limited partnerships, trusts, and limited companies.
- Coordinate audit planning and execution, liaising with auditors, depositaries, and advisers to ensure efficient, well‑controlled engagements.
- Drive continuous improvement by analysing error trends/root causes, strengthening controls, and optimising the onshore/offshore operating model.
- Manage capacity planning and workload allocation across the team to support timely delivery and fair portfolio distribution.
- Maintain strong client relationships: manage expectations, lead service reviews, and resolve issues proactively.
- Support commercial activity including fee proposals, ad‑hoc work scoping, billing visibility, and contribution to cross‑selling opportunities.
- Ensure accurate time recording, robust reporting, and effective communication rhythms (team meetings and 1:1s).
Required Qualifications
- Legal right to work in UK without the need for sponsorship.
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience managing fund accounting delivery for funds (e.g., private equity, real assets, hedge funds, or SPVs).
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP, with the ability to perform technical reviews and advise stakeholders.
- Working knowledge of UK tax filing relevant to funds and fund SPVs (e.g., VAT and other applicable filings) and UK fund structures.
- Strong client management and stakeholder communication skills, including working with auditors and external service providers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading or partnering with offshore delivery teams (e.g., India shared services model).
- Demonstrated people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, and building engaged teams.
- Experience improving processes/controls in a regulated financial services or fund administration environment.
- Familiarity with private capital administration operating models and investor servicing requirements.
