Global Head of Client Onboarding (including ongoing File Reviews)

We’re hiring a Global Head of Onboarding to lead CSC’s client onboarding function across hubs in our three regions. This role holds global accountability for onboarding results (including file reviews) and operational excellence, while leading onboarding managers to deliver a consistent, high-quality, commercially focused client onboarding experience worldwide.
You will drive the global vision for onboarding, balance regional regulatory requirements with global standards, and partner closely with senior stakeholders across KYC Services, Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology, and Client Services. CSC provides the platform and scale; you bring leadership, strategic thinking, and a strong commitment to service excellence.
Some of the things you’ll be doing:
- Own and drive the global onboarding strategy (including file reviews) across three regions, ensuring alignment, scalability, and regulatory excellence
- Lead, coach, and develop onboarding managers and regional onboarding hubs
- Oversee client onboarding and ongoing due diligence globally
- Working closely with KYC Services, ensure collection, analysis, and classification of information in line with applicable AML/KYC regulations (including EU AML Directives and equivalent regional frameworks)
- Define and maintain global Onboarding procedures, operating memoranda, and SLAs
- Act as a senior member of internal Client Acceptance Committees, supporting complex and high-risk onboarding decisions
- Serve as an escalation point for senior stakeholders, key clients, and regulators
- Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and digital onboarding initiatives
- Monitor performance, risk metrics, and service levels across regions
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need? While not all inclusive, the list is:
- Significant experience in onboarding, compliance, or client lifecycle management within financial services, funds, fiduciary, or corporate services
- Keen commercial perspective and experience
- Fierce client spirit
- Proven experience leading multi-regional teams in a global environment
- Strong knowledge of global business/AML/KYC regulatory frameworks
- Excellent English skills (additional languages are an advantage)
- Strong strategic, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities
- High standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgement
