You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, coordination, execution, and evaluation of a diverse portfolio of global events—including exhibitions, sponsorships, seminars, and client events. You will play a key role in shaping and driving the company’s event roadmap, ensuring our activities support broader commercial and brand objectives. Working closely with colleagues in marketing and across the organization, you will help deliver a consistent, high-quality approach to events in EMEA. You will act as a collaborative partner, contributing to the development and maintenance of best practices. Upholding CSC standards for budget management, reporting, and return on investment (ROI) will be central to your role. Beyond strong operational execution, you will bring creative vision and fresh thinking to the event programme, identifying opportunities to elevate our presence, enhance attendee experience, and differentiate our brand. Your attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and proven ability to deliver events that exceed client and stakeholder expectations will be critical to success.
What you will be doing:
- Consult with meeting sponsor and/or requester to understand their requirements of the event
- Project plan and execute a global event program. Events are attended by customers, prospective customers, partners, analysts, media and employees
- Plan event objectives, and measurables in order to ascertain if the event was successful
- All areas of delegate management – invitee lists, registration, emails, post event surveys
- Manage suppliers: sourcing, negotiating and liaising
- Budgetary control: maintaining budgets, controlling costs with suppliers and negotiating without compromising quality
- Contract and invoice management
- Set-up and steer project meetings with stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
- Oversee on-site event logistics, including setup, registration, and coordination of all event elements
- Conduct post-event assessments to analyse the success of each event, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
- Bring new ideas, tools and methods to the event team on a regular basis
What technical skills, experience, and qualifications are necessary?
- Minimum of 5 years event management skills and experience
- Knowledge and experience of running multiple events at the same time, whilst tracking ROI
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, must be able to communicate clearly and with authenticity to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Organised and professional candidate that is confident working independently with guidance. An active ‘doer’
- Exceptional prioritisation skills, able to multitask and work on multiple events at the same time
- Excellent written English, proofreading and research skills
- Highly competent with Excel and PowerPoint
- Enjoy travelling and have the flexibility to do so, sometimes with short notice
- Willingness to work outside of 9-5 office hours as required
- Ideally a Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or a related field
