Senior Business Travel Consultant
This role reports to the Operations Team Manager
This is a full-time, hybrid role, working from our London office 3 x per week; suitable for fully remote for the right profile
Working hours for this role are 8am-6pm Monday to Friday, the shifts are on rotation, and this is shared with the team months in advance

The role
Working in a team of 6, you will manage all aspects of travel for our most exclusive VIP, finance & law clients. You will be providing a very high touch level of customer service, guidance and support using a variety of communication methods to ensure precision and smooth running of operations within the department.
What you have
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Business Travel Consultant across all areas of travel management, particularly within the finance sector
- Sound, proven SABRE skills with the ability to manage multiple reservations and PCC’s
- Excellent understanding of fares and ticketing – ideally to BA1/2 level or equivalent
- Experience using Freshdesk
- Experience in the international market, particularly North America
- Ability to cope well under pressure from clients and be understanding of their culture and needs
- Ability to be patient & diplomatic
- Ability to work independently and be confident in your decision making
What you’ll be doing
- Initial training on workflow and system will be in person in our office during 2 to 3 weeks
- Providing high level customer service to our range of Finance clients
- Assisting with all reservations and aspects of travel including air, hotel, rail and car reservations and any other travel related requests
- Assisting with emergency actions and contingency plans
- Ensuring client travel policies are adhered to correctly
- Ensuring all SLA’s and KPI’s are consistently met
- Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues in the appropriate offices
- Ensuring that all administration, both internal and external is of the highest standard.
- Responding to any other reasonable duties/tasks as may be requested by your Manager or other departmental Managers.
