About the Role
In your role as Senior Business Travel Consultant, with specialisation in Italian language, you will conduct business in an efficient and professional manner, working closely with the Team Manager to support business objectives and deliver exceptional service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver high-quality customer service to all internal and external clients, consistently meeting SLAs and KPIs.
· Manage end-to-end travel bookings using SABRE (Red360) GDS, including UK, European and worldwide flights, rail, hotels, and ground transport.
· Book net, published, and consolidated fares with strong knowledge of fare structures.
· Ensure compliance with client travel policies while identifying cost-effective solutions and leveraging CTM’s preferred suppliers.
· Provide timely responses to client enquiries via email and telephone.
· Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, offering support and collaboration where required.
· Identify cost savings and commissionable rate opportunities to maximize value for clients.
· Meet and exceed individual and team performance targets set by management.
· Remain flexible with working hours, including supporting clients across different time zones.
· Undertake any additional tasks or reasonable duties as required by management.
Skills & Experience
· Proven experience as a Business Travel Consultant, ideally working with corporate clients.
· Strong SABRE GDS skills (booking, fare construction, reissues, and multiple PCC management).
· Advanced knowledge of fares, ticketing, and reissues.
· Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail, able to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong communication skills in Italian are essential, together with excellent interpersonal and written skills, and a proactive, business-level approach to client servicing.
· Resilient, adaptable, and collaborative team player with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (including Copilot) and quick to learn new systems and processes.
· Working knowledge of Freshdesk or similar support platforms.
· Advanced industry knowledge in all areas of travel management operations.
· Formal qualifications (e.g., VA1 & VA2 or equivalent) preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service while managing complex travel requirements.
