OVERVIEW & PURPOSE OF ROLE
The primary objective of the Learning and Development Trainer is to manage the delivery of all training, ensure consistency and knowledge sharing, and uphold high standards within the Training Academy. You will be responsible for developing and delivering training sessions that align with business needs and drive the upskilling of operational teams across CTM UK and EU locations.
In this role, you will take ownership of key projects while supporting the goal of making our operational teams the best in the business. You will conduct training efficiently and professionally, adhering to both company procedures and industry standards. This is a hands-on role, focused on continuous improvement and driving performance standards across the business. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a practical approach to tackling challenges, ensuring training is delivered to a high standard. Occasional travel to other offices may be required to deliver training.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Confident, comfortable, and capable of delivering training to groups of all sizes.
- Able to create engaging presentations and articulate them to a diverse audience.
- Fully conversant with all operational working practices and technology.
- Ability to work in a demanding environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Strong experience in the travel industry, ideally from a travel operational background.
- Extensive knowledge of end-to-end workflows (online and offline).
- Understanding of operations, BA 1/2 (or equivalent), and ATOC. GDS experience is essential; Sabre/Amadeus knowledge is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven ability to drive change and meet deadlines.
- Able to work well both independently and within a team, with a can-do attitude and openness to change.
- Must maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
