About the Role

This position, reporting to the Finance Manager, is responsible for supporting the finance function across CTM UK operations and group entities. The role will cover financial reporting, reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, fixed and intangible asset management, and compliance with UK and group accounting standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years accounting experience
  • Experience with fixed asset management and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in journal postings and financial systems (HFM experience preferred).
  • Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process the accounting, reconciliation and maintenance of accruals and prepayments for UK ledgers.
  • Perform intercompany reviews and reconciliations within the UK and group entities (ANZ, AUS, NA, Asia).
  • Process the accounting, reconciliation and maintenance of fixed assets and intangible assets for the UK ledgers.
  • Posting month end journals and uploading data to HFM as required.
  • Manage intercompany trading (Online booking tool) journal entries and reconciliation of HFM elimination journals.
  • Prepare CTM North VAT monthly analysis, reviewing purchase and sales invoices for quarterly returns.
  • Reconcile sundry debtor and creditor accounts, ensuring balances are cleared.
  • Assist with reconciling and reviewing UK lease accounting under IFRS16.
  • Process the accounting, reconciliation and management of dilapidation accruals for UK properties.
  • Process the accounting, reconciliation and maintenance of provisions and property utility expenses and accruals.
  • Assist in various month end tasks and processes such as initial balance sheet schedules setup.
  • Assist with the preparation and completion of month end balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist the team with the year end audits and other ad-hoc requests and requirements.
