You will be joining a dynamic team of 4 people, based in Bradford and working from home. You will be servicing a key client of CTM's success, so apply today!
The Out‑of‑Hours (OOH) Safeguarding Support Officer is part of the Safeguarding team, reporting to the Safeguarding lead. The responsibility of the role is to maintain service continuity, safety, and effective escalation outside core hours. This is a new role to support a busy and dynamic team of safeguarding professionals, serving one of CTM’s core clients.
It is essential to have a safeguarding qualification and a solid understanding of processes to deliver a Safe for All culture, effectively triage the safeguarding concerns, escalate to the DSL, respond, coordinate and keep record. The Support Officer will also attend ad hoc Home Office calls on weekends.
The Support Officer will work 8.5‑hour shifts (including a 1‑hour break) and receive shift schedules 6 weeks in advance. Midweek evenings: Mon–Fri, 17:00–01:30; Weekend days: Weekend evenings.
- 2+ years in safeguarding, welfare, housing, hospitality, or social care
- Strong understanding of UK safeguarding legislation and statutory processes
- Experience managing safeguarding concerns, risk assessments, and escalations
- Ability to work remotely and independently in high‑pressure situations
Please note that this role requires a security clearance process (you must have lived in the UK for 5 consecutive years to be eligible) and a DBS check.
