The Role
The Pricing Specialist / Analyst is a commercially critical role within the Finance function, responsible for the design, development and delivery of pricing models that support CTM’s bid and tender activity across the UK and EU.
Working closely with the Commercial, Sales, and Operations teams, this role ensures that all client proposals are underpinned by robust, data-driven pricing structures that reflect CTM’s cost base, margin requirements, and competitive positioning.
The role plays a central part in enabling CTM to win and retain commercially sound client relationships.
This new role reports to the Head of FP&A. The role is hybrid, 3 days per week in our London office.
- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Exceptional analytical and numerical reasoning skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into clear business insights.
- Proactive and outcomes-driven; able to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight bid timelines.
- Confident communicator who can present complex pricing rationale in accessible, non-technical language.
- Collaborative working style with the credibility to influence commercial and sales stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and evolving data inputs in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- High personal integrity and commitment to accuracy in all financial outputs.
Education and Experience
- Degree-level education in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics or a related analytical discipline.
- Proven experience in a pricing, commercial finance, or financial analysis role, ideally within a service-led or B2B environment.
- Demonstrable experience in building and maintaining complex financial or pricing models from scratch.
- Strong working knowledge of tender and bid pricing processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; confident working with large data sets and complex formulae.
- Experience producing clear, structured outputs for senior commercial and finance stakeholders.
- Preferred
- Experience within the corporate travel management, logistics, or professional services sectors.
- Familiarity with TMC commercial models, GDS data, or airline and hotel supplier contracting.
- Exposure to BI or data visualisation tools (e. g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent.
- Experience in a multi-country or pan-European commercial environment.
