Reporting to the Head of Legal for Europe, the Senior Legal Counsel will be responsible for providing day to day high quality, pragmatic and timely legal advice, risk mitigation and legal compliance and corporate advisory services to CTM’s UK/Europe region business and to the wider Group to support CTM’s strategic objectives and business operations.
- 7+ years’ experience ideally gained in private practice and in-house or other relevant experience
- Strong capability in contract drafting, review, negotiations and providing high quality legal advice as a generalist lawyer across a broad range of agreements
- Experience in corporate advisory, commercial law and transactions and projects
- Good understanding of the Companies Act, Contractual principles and Data Protection legislation
- Experience in employment law desirable, but not essential
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyse situations, problem solve and provide pragmatic advice
- Strong stakeholder management skills, relationship builder and trusted adviser to Head of Legal, Senior Leadership and the wider CTM business
