Our Bradford office is looking for Travel Consultants to serve one of our most important clients. It is essential to have some customer service experience, an interest in travel, and to be a great team player. The role is office based, working on shifts between 8 am and 8 pm. Please only apply if you are able to come to our office 5 days per week and if you have customer service experience both on emails and on the phone.

There are several Hotel and Rail Consultant roles available in our Bradford office. Set in a dynamic and supportive working environment, this role is the perfect first step for a career in Corporate Travel. With a motivated team, you will provide customer service to CTM users via phone and email.

Overview:

  • Provide a high level of customer service and support to both internal and external customers and suppliers.
  • Provide guidance and support to clients, using a variety of communication methods to enable the smooth running of day to day operations within the department.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Offer exemplary customer service to clients and suppliers at all times across all methods of communication.
  • Maintain a good level of understanding of all our hotel reservations and invoicing systems.
  • Provide guidance on using CTM online booking tools to clients, while ensuring adherence to organisational travel policies as well as CTM best practice and procedures.
  • Share knowledge and information with colleagues both inter and intra departmentally.
  • Provide feedback and suggest possible actions to appropriate Team Leaders where challenges are encountered.
  • Flexibility to work in all aspects of the role, taking on tasks as dictated by business needs.
  • Show willingness to provide shift cover as and when appropriate.

What we are looking for:

  • Degree or experience in travel, tourism or geography.
  • Experience working in an office environment, 1-2 years.
  • Experience in customer service, phone based and email based, 1-2 years.
  • Experience working in a team.
  • Flawless written and oral expression.
  • Eagerness to learn, progress and make a difference.

What to expect from the recruitment process:

  • Every hire starts with a chat with our Talent Acquisition team; if your profile is selected you will be contacted by phone or email.
  • If you are progressing, the hiring manager will invite you to an interview, usually on Teams.
  • If you are successful we will invite you to our office for a final stage interview.
  • Wherever possible we will provide you with feedback, however we are a small team and often we won't be able to do so until after we fill the vacancy.
