About the Role

As the Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be required to work to month end deadlines including but not limited to completing daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to ensure that bank reconciliations, cash postings, and cashflow reporting are completed accurately. You will prepare consolidated invoices for the customer and ensure they are sent in a timely manner. Working closely with offshore teams, you will help meet deadlines including Month End Close procedures. The role entails strong collaboration with the Accounting teams and other key stakeholder departments. The role is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract for maternity leave.

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily, weekly and monthly accounts activities
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements
  • Post cash flow and cash postings accurately
  • Prepare consolidated invoices and send to customers in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with offshore teams to meet month‑end close procedures
  • Work closely with Accounting and other stakeholder departments

Skills & Experience

  • 1 year experience in a finance environment
  • Banking portal experience a plus
  • Experience with financial postings and ERP (e.g. Protas or other)
  • Good Excel skills and knowledge of Microsoft applications
  • Strong communication skills – able to work with both external and internal customers
  • Problem‑solving and issue resolution skills; Maths and English to GCSE (A‑C)
  • Tenacity to resolve queries and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and collaboratively

Clearance

The role requires a security clearance process. You must have lived in the UK for 5 consecutive years to be eligible and will undergo a DBS check. Do not apply if you are not willing to undergo this background check.
