About the Role
The role of the Accounts Payable Leader is a key role in the EU/UK Financial Operations team, bringing technical knowledge and managerial experience to ensure that all aspects of Purchase Ledger processes are completed in a timely and accurate manner. The Accounts Payable Leader will ensure that the workflow of processes is managed, tasks and systems are improved where appropriate, and the team members are developed to ensure that they provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers. Managing and holding the outsourced team accountable at WNS will be key to the success of the role.
Skills & Experience
- Expertise in Business Travel sector (expense management, corporate card programs) would be an advantage
- Experience of managing a Purchase Ledger Team, with strong cross functional knowledge of Finance Operations processes
- Ability to motivate and develop members of the team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work with offshored support and drive the best value from this team
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Previous involvement with system implementations and change management would be an advantage
