We’re working with a growing specialist property lender looking to make a key senior addition to its Development Finance underwriting team.
This isn’t simply another underwriting hire.
The team is already established and they’re looking for someone who can become a genuine technical point of reference within the business – taking ownership of complex transactions whilst mentoring and developing some very capable junior members of the team.
You’ll need:
- Strong Development Finance underwriting experience
- Exposure to bridging alongside development lending
- Excellent technical knowledge of development, construction and credit risk
- Experience of complex/challenged transactions and restructuring scenario
- The ability – and importantly, the desire – to mentor and develop others
You don’t necessarily need to be managing a team currently.
What matters is that you’re technically strong, approachable and already the person colleagues tend to come to when they need a second opinion on a difficult deal.
The lender is currently weighted heavily towards Development Finance
