We’re working with a growing specialist property lender who are looking to appoint an Operations Director to help scale their lending platform and support ambitious growth plans. This is a senior, hands-on leadership role with real influence—sitting on credit committee, shaping lending strategy, and building out operations as the loan book continues to expand.
The Role:
- Lead underwriting & credit oversight (managing Head of Underwriting)
- Own operational infrastructure – from application through to drawdown & in-life management
- Drive improvements across process, turnaround times & customer experience
- Support sales/BDM team to deliver on origination and conversion targets
- Play a key role in lending strategy, product development & business growth
What we’re looking for:
- Senior underwriting background across bridging, development or commercial property finance (7–10+ years)
- Strong operational mindset – able to build, improve and scale processes
