As Director of Technology, you’ll play a key role in professionalising the technology function, embedding best practices and building the foundations needed to support the next phase of growth. This is a people-first leadership role with a strong focus on developing, mentoring and inspiring high-performing teams. You’ll foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement, driving both individual and team performance while building a technology organisation that is equipped to scale with the business.

Leading software development, infrastructure, DevOps, data engineering, BI & analytics, QA, and information security, you’ll be responsible for delivering the technology strategy while ensuring operational excellence across the function. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you’ll work closely with the executive team to shape the company’s strategic direction, influence key business decisions and ensure technology remains a key driver of commercial growth and innovation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience in a senior technology role (CTO, CIO, or similar)
  • Must have Fintech or Payments experience
  • Experience guiding a business through start-up to scale-up
  • Deep experience across the full technical spectrum: development, DevOps, data, BI, QA, InfoSec
  • Strong technical foundation with hands-on knowledge of the following: Microsoft stack: .NET/ C#, containerisation (docker, Kubernetes, AKS), Azure Cloud (Azure SQL, App Insights)
  • Front end technologies (React, Angular and ecosystem)
  • Snowflake, Auth0, Looker, Bitbucket, Atlassian Suite
  • Experience leading distributed and remote teams with strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated success in scaling platforms and teams
