My client is an award-winning tech platform founded in 2024, with a goal of enabling SME businesses to access a variety of lending options via one platform, allowing them to make the best informed lending decisions in a tech-savvy way. To access UK SMEs, they can white label their software, providing it to Banks, Financial Services Providers & Payment platforms to enable them to offer the lending solution to their SME customer base. After 2 years of scaling, they have now been acquired by a leading tech provider, giving them the best of both worlds – capital & resources to continue their growth while still operating as a scale-up dynamic business.

We are now looking to scale the commercial team due to a large bank white labelling product, predicting to provide thousands of warm business customers who are looking for lending. We are therefore looking for talented, consultative individuals to convert warm leads, guide customers through the lending journey & grow ARR through closing.

Responsibilities:

  • Conversion of leads coming from our Partner Banks – Picking up the lead, consultative outreach to the business customer to pitch our lending solution, fact-finding call & connect them with a relevant lending solution to close the deal.
  • Work closely with the business client to guide them through the lending deal – ensure correct financial statements are submitted for the lender to authorise the loan.
  • Act as an advisor to our partners to help them identify the quality leads we are looking for.
  • Being one of the first hires in the team, you can help to implement policy & best practice.

Experience:

  • Prior SME lending experience – ideally within Merchant Cash Advance or Unsecured business loans.
  • Proven success in having a consultative sales approach to closing warm leads passed by partners.
  • Proactive, organised and good attention to detail which will help you enable customers through the end-to-end funding journey.
  • Ability to work for a fast growth fintech company.
