Junior IT Architect
What We Need
Corpay is currently looking to hire a Junior IT Architect within our International Vehicle Payments division. This position falls under our vehicle payments line of business and is located in London, UK. In this role, you will join our technology team. This entry-level role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their career who is interested in how systems, applications, and infrastructure fit together. You will support senior architects in designing, documenting, and improving IT systems across the organisation. You will report directly to Chief Architect and regularly collaborate with across teams to ensure applications, infrastructure, security, and business needs all fit together in a well-designed solution.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Assisting in the design and documentation of IT architecture (applications, systems, and infrastructure)
Supporting the development of architecture diagrams, standards, and best practices
Working with engineering and product teams to understand system requirements
Helping review existing systems and identify opportunities for improvement
Contributing to ensuring solutions align with security, scalability, and performance needs
Participating in technical discussions, design reviews, and project meetings
Documenting processes, architectures, and technical decisions
Researching emerging technologies and industry trends
Qualifications & Skills
0-2 years of experience
Strong interest in IT systems, architecture, and technology design
Basic understanding of how applications, databases, and infrastructure interact
Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas clearly
Attention to detail and a structured approach to work
Willingness to learn and develop in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Skills
Awareness of cloud computing concepts (e.g., hosting, scalability, services)
Understanding of system integration and APIs
Interest in security and data protection principles
Exposure to working in a technical or IT-related environment
Familiarity with architectural frameworks or methodologies (e.g., TOGAF concepts)
