Corpay is currently looking to hire a QA Analyst within our Cambridge division. This position falls under our Corpay Cross Border line of business and is located in Toronto. In this role, you will work closely with Development and PM teams to maintain a top level of quality in software systems. We are looking for a dedicated individual who can be a pivotal part of the Scrum Team, and someone who is responsible for reviewing/clarifying requirements. You will report directly to one of our QA Leads and regularly collaborate with teams.

As a QA Analyst, you will work in a virtual environment based in London. Corpay will provide formal, hands-on training.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Refining complex stories and proposing acceptance criteria.
  • Creating QA test artifacts (Test Strategy, Test Matrix, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Results) and functional documentation.
  • Executing manual and automated tests (functional, UI, API, Integration, Regression, UAT).
  • Communicating test progress, results, and relevant information to stakeholders and management.
  • Installing and setting up tools and environments.
  • Investigating issues found during testing or reported from production, logging them into Jira, and escalating when necessary.
  • Analyzing logs, recommending improvements, and compiling reports based on findings.
Qualifications and Skills
  • 7+ years of experience in manual testing across functional, regression, integration, UI, performance, and scalability testing.
  • Proficient in writing test cases and identifying test scenarios.
  • Experience in writing SQL queries and scripts.
  • Experience working in an agile Scrum team.
  • Experience in the payments industry is a strong plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Good team player, capable of solving complex tasks, and escalating risks appropriately.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
  • High level of productivity, responsibility, and influence.
