Corpay is currently looking to hire a Support Engineer within our organisation. This role supports key business applications by managing system alerts, troubleshooting issues, and assisting both internal teams and clients. The position focuses on first-line support while contributing to system reliability, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll be doing
As a Support Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and resolving system alerts, troubleshooting issues, supporting both internal teams and helping resolve client issues. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve system reliability while playing a key role in debugging, root cause analysis, and system optimisation.
How We Work
As a Support Engineer, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment based in our London office. Corpay will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for system alerts and issues raised by clients or internal teams
- Investigate system alerts, analyse logs, and trawl through data to diagnose and resolve issues effectively
- Use tools like Datadog and other monitoring platforms to detect and respond to system anomalies
- Collaborate with other departments (Settlements, Compliance, Client Services and Connectivity teams)
- Manage incidents in line with SLAs, ensuring timely resolutions
- Analyse system logs, debug issues and identify root causes
- Create and run scripts to query databases
- Work with APIs to debug integration issues
- Document common issues and resolutions
- Improve system performance and workflows
- Communicate directly with clients when needed
