Your role
To work within FleetCor’s IT organization supporting both internal and external client production systems.
The IT Production Support Analyst will work closely with Infrastructure teams and Application teams to ensure Fleetcor IT services are operational in line with customer expectations.
Ensure all high priority issues are progressed effectively.
Ensure production is running as expected, with issues found and fixed promptly.
Respond to alerts, handling them efficiently to remove or reduce Business impact.
Carry out routine and regular checks designed to detect issues before Business impact, ensure checks are effective and identify areas which need further monitoring.
Provide knowledge through documentation as new issues and situations are dealt with.
Contribute to maintaining an effective Change Management process.
Provide triage on issues from end users to identify the right team to resolve issues.
Contribute to Continuous Improvement activities.
As issues are often unique it is important the candidate is able to process lots of pieces of information and logically combine them to come up with a good working theory of how the issue can be resolved. They must be able to communicate what they have found to other teams and own issues even when engaging with other teams to assist. They should drive for resolution quickly and then determine what can be done to stop the issue happening again.
What you’ll be doing
We are currently looking for a Production Support Analyst on a full time, permanent basis, to work within Fleetcor’s IT organisation supporting both internal and external client production systems.
The Production Support Analyst will work closely with Infrastructure teams and Application teams to ensure Fleetcor IT services are operational in line with customer expectations.
Provide expert knowledge, support & delivery in key areas of Incident Management, System Functionality & Development / Change, ensuring defined business objectives are achieved whilst continually monitoring & maintaining quality and services requirements meeting business needs & risk.
The role will be working between the hours of 7am and 7pm so you must be flexible.
Key accountabilities

Skills and experience we’d like you to have
- Experience in a busy environment where it is necessary to be able to prioritise a range of different tasks.
- Good Experience of using SQL, able to run and create queries.
- A quick learner with an enquiring mindset, willing to learn new skills and products.
- Excellent personal and interpersonal communication skills to interact with a variety of individuals, including building strong relationships with other departments.
- The ability to work under pressure.
- Good communication skills, oral and written.
- As Production Support Analyst you will have an analytical mind, capable of problem solving, multi-tasking and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Ability to communicate technical information in a non-technical language to users.
