Your role What you'll be doing What We Need Corpay is currently looking to hire a Head of Sales within our Corporate Payments division.

This position falls under our Corpay Complete line of business and is located in the north of England.

In this role, you will work in a managerial position leading, coaching, and growing one of our UK commercial card sales team, focused on driving new business for Corpay Complete.

As a new entrant to the Accounts Payable space in the UK you will be right at the start of an exciting chapter for Corpay in the UK.

You, and your team will deliver unprecedented growth.

The successful candidate will be accountable for delivering against ambitious revenue targets, scaling our market presence, and ensuring excellence in sales execution across a team of Business Development Managers.

You will report directly to VP Sales and regularly collaborate with sales development, marketing and product teams.

How We Work As a Head of Sales, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment.

Corpay will set you up for success by providing: Assigned workspace in our Manchester or Knaresborough office.

Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include: Own the commercial card sales strategy and revenue growth across the Mid-Market and Enterprise segments, delivering against ambitious acquisition and revenue targets.

Lead the end-to-end sales lifecycle, from pipeline generation through executive engagement, commercial negotiations and contract close.

Build, lead and develop a high-performing sales team, recruiting, coaching and driving a culture of accountability, excellence and continuous improvement.

Develop scalable sales processes, forecasting, pipeline governance and performance metrics to deliver predictable, sustainable growth.

Build trusted relationships with senior finance, procurement and treasury stakeholders, positioning the business as a strategic payments partner.

Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Operations and Customer Success to optimise the customer journey and maximise commercial outcomes.

Act as the voice of the customer, providing strategic insight on customer needs, market trends and the competitive landscape to influence business and product strategy.

Identify opportunities for product innovation, market expansion and new revenue streams, helping shape the future commercial card proposition.

Represent the business at executive customer engagements, strategic partner meetings and industry events, strengthening market presence and brand credibility.

Deliver accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility and commercial reporting to senior leadership, ensuring achievement of growth objectives.

Qualifications ability to thrive in ambiguity and build from the ground up.

Demonstrated ability to lead a team while also supporting closing complex deals.

Strong understanding of payment processes, finance operations, and value drivers for CFO and Controller personas.

Skilled in forecasting, pipeline management, and building structured sales methodologies.

Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and executive-level presentation skills.
