Business Development Manager â B2B â FTCCorpay is currently looking to hire a Business Development Manager within our PayByPhone division on a 12âmonth fixedâterm contract (maternity cover). As a B2B Sales Executive you will be the driving force behind new business growth in the Fleet and Mobility sectors, representing our brand and values with professionalism, integrity, and a customerâfirst mindset. Your role will focus on identifying and engaging decisionâmakers, delivering tailored sales presentations, and closing deals that contribute to longâterm client success.
What You\âll Be Doing
Take shared ownership of the PBP Business product in the UK.
Proactively generate and manage new business leads within the UK region, carrying your own sales target.
Action any leads in a timely manner, ensuring the CRM system is kept up to date.
Where appropriate, negotiate the terms of an agreement and close all sales profitably.
Work in line with sales processes and procedures.
With the support of the UK Commercial Director, develop sales strategies, profit forecasts and define channel plans for the product, to ensure profitable delivery and business growth.
Gather market / client information and feedback to the Managing Director, including forecasting a pipeline of future demands and opportunities.
Keep up to date with product / market developments and competitors.
Build and maintain effective business relationships with executive decisionâmakers in key accounts.
Provide timely, accurate, relevant and articulate sales reports, as required.
Support the development of sales presentations and proposals.
Work closely with other areas of the internal business.
Skills And Experience We\âd Like You To Have
Minimum 3+ years of B2B sales experience or equivalent.
Prior experience with leading a sales / business development team.
Proven track record of growing a client base, building and executing commercial deals, exceeding KPIs, and achieving company goals.
Consistent achievement of personal goals and targets.
Experience in the mobile payments industry is highly regarded.
Entrepreneurial spirit with a getâitâdone attitude.
Ability to combine business, technology, finance, and legal concepts within complex, multiâfaced deals.
Experienced negotiator and ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
Strong relationshipâbuilding skills with prospective and existing clients and partners.
Commercially astute and customerâfocused.
Selfâmotivated, tenacious, and competitive.
High level of selfâawareness coupled with emotional intelligence.
Parking industry experience is an asset but not required.
Experience with enterpriseâlevel CRM systems.
