Your role involves quoting global clients in 145+ currencies and executing FX transactions on various systems including Bloomberg, Refinitiv FXT, and 360T. You will collaborate closely with UK and US trading desks to provide comprehensive client coverage and support daily trading volume activities. Additionally, you will manage end-of-day (EOD) UK position reporting and P&L entry with accuracy and timeliness.

As a key liaison across global trading desks, you will ensure effective communication and operational alignment. You will follow up with the settlements team in tight coordination with the Middle Office and proactively propose improvements when shortcomings are identified. Developing competencies and becoming a reference in selected emerging markets for the team and other stakeholders is also part of your responsibilities. You will cover market developments, regulatory and compliance aspects, maintain and develop relationships with liquidity providers, and identify market opportunities while setting up compliant processes to offer adequate solutions to clients.

How we work: You will work in the Moorgate office in London, with flexibility to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. Travel to the US and Canada may be required.

Qualifications & Skills: You should have 5+ years in an EM FX Sales and/or Trader function in a bank or fintech. A Master’s degree in Science, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent is preferred; less experience may be considered. Strong knowledge of African markets, especially deliverable FX, and additional emerging markets is a plus. Good knowledge of derivatives including Non-Deliverable Forwards and FX Options is also required.
