Role Overview

Associate EDD Analyst – ABS sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of high‑risk client accounts to evaluate risks, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Handle complex cases and assess escalations from 1st Line, including adverse media, PEPs, state‑owned enterprises, risk‑appetite issues, policy exceptions/deviations, and AML letters.
  • Provide EDD guidance to the first line, client‑service and sales teams with support from an analyst/senior/team lead.
  • Contribute to the wider compliance framework and aid in developing internal processes and procedures.
  • Analyze alternative investment structures and become proficient with corporate entities, trusts, funds and SPVs.
  • Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards and adheres to policies, while collaborating with line managers on individual performance.
  • Master compliance platforms, screening tools and systems to streamline departmental workflow.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to queries from various business units.
