Role Responsibilities
- Qualification & Commercial Control
- Establish formal bid / no-bid decision logic for global payments RFPs.
- Implement qualification frameworks (strategic fit, margin profile, complexity, etc.).
- Protect sales capacity by preventing low-value or misaligned pursuits.
- Introduce pricing guardrails and commercial risk controls early in the deal cycle.
- Partner with Risk, Legal and Compliance to ensure structured early engagement on regulated, multi-rail deals.
- Strategy & Deal Shaping
- Own strategy development for priority RFPs and complex proactive proposals.
- Shape solution scope, commercial positioning and narrative.
- Influence pricing, deal structure and commercial constructs at pre-bid stage.
- Align Product, Partnerships, Risk and Legal into a single coordinated response.
- Elevate win probability through structured messaging and differentiation.
- Scale & Industrialisation
- Build and govern a global content and response library (modular, approved, reusable).
- Standardise answers for core, transition and expansion use cases.
- Deploy and optimise RFPIO / bid tooling integrated with Salesforce.
- Reduce response cycle times while improving consistency and quality.
- Enable repeatable partner-led and multi-region deals without linear headcount growth.
- Execution & Conversion
- Own orchestration of handoffs across Sales, Partnerships, Product and Operations.
- Introduce SLAs and governance for response timelines.
- Track conversion rates, velocity and drop-off across bid stages.
- Continuously improve bid performance based on data and outcomes.
- Support monetisation of integrated partner and multi-rail deals.
- Strategic Payments Opportunities
- Lead structured pursuit of strategic enterprise RFPs, multi-rail regulated cross-border mandates, partner-driven global opportunities and proactive proposals in priority verticals and geographies.
Qualification & Skills
- 8+ years in enterprise bid management, RFP strategy, or complex commercial deal structuring within fintech, payments, banking, or regulated financial services.
- Deep experience in cross-border payments, FX, treasury, or multi-rail infrastructure.
- Proven ability to improve win-rates and commercial discipline in enterprise sales environments.
- Experience operating across global, matrixed organisations.
- Strong commercial judgement and pricing fluency.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders across Sales, Partnerships, Risk, Legal and Product.
- Experience building repeatable response frameworks and content libraries.
- Strong understanding of regulated financial environments.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and bid/RFP tooling (e.g., RFPIO or equivalent).
- Analytical mindset with ability to track and improve conversion metrics.
