Your role What you'll be doing What We Need Corpay is currently looking to hire an EDD Analyst within our Alpha Group division.

This position falls under our Cross-Border payments solutions line of business and is located in London, United Kingdom.

In this role, you will be responsible for protecting the organisation from money laundering and broader financial crime risks by conducting enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews on high-risk clients and complex scenarios.

You will assess whether identified financial crime risks are sufficiently mitigated and aligned with Alpha’s risk appetite, investigate escalated high-risk factors such as politically exposed persons (PEPs) and adverse media findings, and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.

You will report directly to the Head of EDD Compliance and regularly collaborate with Compliance, Client Service, Sales, and other internal business stakeholders.

  • Conducting comprehensive reviews of high-risk client accounts, evaluating financial crime risks, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Handling complex EDD cases and assessing escalations from the First Line, further escalating matters where required.
  • Investigating adverse media, politically exposed persons (PEPs), state-owned enterprises (SOEs), risk appetite concerns, policy exceptions, and AML-related matters.
  • Applying technical compliance knowledge to providing EDD guidance to First Line, Client Service, and Sales teams on complex and high-risk scenarios.
  • Independently contributing to developing and enhancing compliance processes, procedures, and the wider compliance framework.
  • Conducting detailed analysis of alternative investment structures and assessing complex client types, including corporate entities, trusts, funds, and SPVs.
  • Ensuring all activities are meeting the highest quality standards and adhering to internal policies while continuously improving individual performance.
  • Mastering compliance platforms and systems to supporting efficient departmental workflows.
  • Responding promptly and effectively to compliance-related queries from multiple business units.
  • Delivering EDD training sessions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identifying efficiency improvements, raising process enhancement opportunities, and supporting the implementation of change initiatives.
  • Supporting the training, mentoring, and upskilling of the wider Compliance team.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Compliance, Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), or Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
  • Degree preferred in Business, Finance, Law, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of AML, KYC, financial crime regulations, and Enhanced Due Diligence practices.
  • Experience investigating high-risk client scenarios, including PEPs, adverse media, SOEs, policy exceptions, and complex ownership structures.
  • Experience assessing corporate entities, trusts, funds, SPVs, and alternative investment structures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
  • High level of accuracy with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
  • Ability to perform effectively within a fast‑paced and evolving environment.
