Role Purpose

As an IT Technician at Corona IT Solutions, you will be at the forefront of supporting a rapidly growing, UK-wide client base. You will provide first-rate help desk support, manage hardware lifecycle processes, and utilize state-of-the-art support tools, including modern RMM solutions, to ensure our systems run smoothly. This is a hands-on role in a forward-thinking company that leverages the latest tech and is continually exploring how AI can enhance our operations.

Key Accountabilities

  • Help Desk Support: Deliver prompt and professional phone support, ensuring technical issues are swiftly resolved.
  • Hardware Management: Assist with the procurement, inventory management, and disposal of IT hardware.
  • VIP/Executive Support: Provide dedicated IT support for executive staff, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Process Support: Contribute to the development and management of standard procedures to optimize IT operations.
  • Team Collaboration: Cross-train and offer guidance to fellow technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
  • Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with vendors on installations, upgrades, and preventive maintenance using advanced RMM tools.

  • Technical Support: Proven experience in IT Help Desk support.
  • Operating Systems: Expertise in Windows 11; familiarity with Office365 is essential.
  • Mobile Support: Experience supporting both Android and iOS devices.
  • Hardware Proficiency: Strong skills in troubleshooting desktops, laptops, and printers.
  • Networking: Solid understanding of general networking and wireless environments.
  • Remote Tools: Proficiency with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and telephone support skills with a strong customer service focus.
  • Documentation: Ability to maintain accurate records and contribute to a shared knowledge base.
