We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Credit Controller to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to manage a portfolio of corporate, government, and managing agent customers, building strong relationships while driving collections performance and delivering an excellent customer experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing a portfolio of corporate customers across gas and electricity as the dedicated collections contact.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Conducting regular phone calls, meetings, and conference calls with customers.
- Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries.
- Producing debt reports and analysing customer account data.
- Reconciling customer accounts and ensuring data accuracy.
- Working collaboratively with wider teams to achieve collection targets.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a Credit Control or Collections role.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
- Confident using multiple systems simultaneously, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms and adapt to changing processes
- Excellent numeracy and attention to detail.
- Good Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs.
- A proactive and collaborative approach to work.

Working Pattern
In this role you will be able to work on a hybrid pattern, with Tues-Thurs in the office and Monday and Friday at home. Our standard office hours are 0830 – 1700, Monday to Friday.
