Location: Watford (Hybrid – 3 days office based and 2 days working from home)

At Corona Energy, we are looking for a Legal Assistant to support our Legal Team in delivering high-quality legal services across the business. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to a broad range of legal matters while working for one of the UK's leading independent energy suppliers.

The Legal Assistant will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations and work closely with the General Counsel and Legal Team. You will provide administrative and legal support across a broad range of activities, including:

  • Contract management
  • Legal research
  • Corporate governance and compliance matters

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and legal support to the General Counsel and Legal department
  • Assist with the preparation, formatting and proofreading of commercial contracts and legal documents
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including Sales, Operations and Compliance teams to gather information and support legal matters
  • Conduct legal research and assist with legal projects as required
  • Maintain accurate records, filing systems and legal documentation
  • Assist with privacy and data protection matters, including GDPR-related activities
  • Undertake any other duties reasonably required by the Legal Team and management

Previous administration experience within a legal environment is desirable but not essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook is required. A proactive approach with a genuine interest in learning and developing within an in-house legal department is essential.
