Starlight Tyre Garage is expanding, and we're looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanic to join our busy and growing workshop.

The Role
As a Qualified Mechanic, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs.
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
- Performing vehicle inspections and safety checks.
- Working on brakes, suspension, exhausts, steering, and other vehicle components.
- Supporting tyre fitting and general workshop duties when required.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Delivering excellent workmanship and customer service at all times.
- Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
This is a varied and hands-on role, offering the opportunity to work on a wide range of vehicles within a supportive and friendly workshop environment.
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Be a fully qualified and experienced Mechanic.
- Have strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Be confident carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance independently.
- Be reliable, hardworking, and motivated.
- Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Take pride in delivering high-quality work.
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- Hold a full UK driving licence (preferred).
Our Offer
Pay: From £16.00 per hour, negotiable depending on experience.
Hours: 40 hours per week.
Salary Equivalent: Starting from approximately £33,280 per year based on a 40-hour week.
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time.
