An AI Conversation Designer is urgently sought after by a global Investment Manager to lead a greenfield project to craft and build a new AI Chatbot to be utilised across all digital channels within their retail investment business, replacing a traditional Chatbot that no longer meets business needs.

The aim of this new AI Chatbot is to improve both customer satisfaction and self-service capabilities, being able to pull data from multiple sources and translate complex financial jargon into easily understandable terms that will help advise and guide customers in their investment activity.

Your role will be to lead on this project, being directly involved in technology selection and influence (they are likely to be utilising Genesys but open to suggestion from personal experience/expertise), working in a roughly 50/30/20 split across conversational design, content design and UX design. Whilst you will be the primary Conversational Designer, you will be supported by a team of in-house UX Designers.

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

  • Experience in the design and delivery of AI-driven Chatbots, with strong usage of tools such as Genesys, IBM Watson, Einstein or ChatGPT
  • Expertise in areas including Natural Language Processing, Prompt Design and Large Language Models (LLMS) to craft responsive, AI-driven conversational flows
  • A strong background in content writing/design with the ability to translate complex jargon and topics into easily accessible and digestible information for users
  • Strong UX Design skills with experience in Figma, Sketch etc., able to design user-centred experiences and products
  • Experience within Financial Services is desired however they are open to a background in any large, regulated industry
