Remote / £185,000 + Bonus A market leading global FinTech is seeking a Head of AI Engineering with a strong background in AI and ML techniques, data engineering, and software development to take responsibility and work with product and customer teams to deliver AI features across the stack. Reporting into the CTO, you will be leading global Engineering teams and leveraging AI solutions as well as converting real-world information into high-quality data for their customer base. The role also entails working closely with technology and implementing a data strategy for AI teams supporting key use cases, i.e., model training and real-time data access. This is a great opportunity to be the face of a market-leading data-driven FinTech leading them on their AI journey. Key Skills: Proven practical experience as an AI Engineering Leader, including management of multiple squads and complex engineering delivery projects. A background in general software development and practices beyond AI/ML, with a delivery-focused leadership position. Practical hands-on experience in designing and deploying machine learning-driven solutions and a solid mathematical foundation in deep learning techniques, LLM, and NLP. Unstructured to structured data specialization. Great public speaking skills to represent AI at the business and position them as a pioneering AI-centric firm in their space. Strong experience with cloud environments – Azure and GCP preferable. Not essential, but ideally full stack (C#, Angular, etc.).
