Rivermead View Residential Care Home in Looe, Cornwall is seeking a Senior Healthcare Assistant (Nights) for a full-time contract. We are looking for a motivated, compassionate, hands-on leader to guide our dedicated night team of Care Assistants and help shape exceptional, person-centred care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of Care Assistants to deliver the highest standards of person-centred care
- Provide all aspects of personal care for individual residents as needed
- Administer prescribed medication safely and in line with individual care plans and company policies
- Contribute actively to care planning, reviews, and assessments required
- Maintain accurate, clear, and timely records of care delivered and residents' wellbeing
- Conduct formal supervision sessions and support the development of junior team members
Requirements:
- Kind, caring, and compassionate approach to care
- Highly motivated with a commitment to achieving and maintaining high standards
- Able to work independently and remain calm under pressure in a dynamic care environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in medication administration
- Experience in care planning and conducting assessments
Desirable:
- First Aider / Fire Warden
- Moving & Handling Trainer
Contract: 42hrs week 1 x3 12hrs shifts Week 2 x4 12hrs shifts
Payrates: £15.47 per hour, £19.34 per hour (Weekends), £30.94 per hour (Bank Holidays)
