Catchment and Coastal Partnerships Officer in Truro

This role is to support the coordination and development of Cornwall Catchment Partnership and the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Marine and Coastal Partnership, helping to facilitate a collaborative and integrated approach to catchment, coastal and marine nature recovery in Cornwall. This will be achieved through engagement with partners and stakeholders, supporting activities such as partnership meetings, events, workshops and site visits, and assisting with the preparation of papers, reports, presentations, newsletters, action plans and stakeholder engagement materials.

The Catchment and Coastal Partnerships Officer will help support a joined-up source-to-sea approach across Cornwall’s rivers, estuaries, coast and marine environment, contributing to activity around water quality, water quantity, flood and coastal resilience, marine nature recovery and nature-based solutions.

Are you an environmental or conservation professional with great communication and organisation skills, looking to support nature recovery from source to sea in Cornwall? This new role at Cornwall Wildlife Trust will help bring partners together across Cornwall’s catchments, rivers, estuaries, coast and seas, supporting both Cornwall Catchment Partnership and the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Marine and Coastal Partnership. The role will involve helping coordinate meetings, events, workshops, site visits, communications and project development linked to water quality, flooding and coastal resilience, marine nature recovery and nature-based solutions.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys collaborative working and wants to help drive positive change for Cornwall’s rivers, estuaries, coast and seas. This is a full time (37.5 hours per week) fixed term appointment for 12 months.
