Responsibilities Building and leading a new Resources and Performance service overseeing financial insight, management, pensions, treasury, assessment, billing, collection, and business planning. Providing expert advice and ensuring a clear overview of resource inflows into the authority. Reporting to the COO and acting as Deputy s151, responsible for financial administration, developing MTFS, and related financial strategies. Applying a commercial approach to traded services and related companies. Bringing system-level strategic thinking to align priorities and outcomes across the council. Contributing to corporate workstreams and objectives as part of the wider leadership team. Providing assurance and building credibility with colleagues, elected members, and residents.
