We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Support Worker to provide high-quality supported living care to a service user in their own home in St Buryan, Cornwall. This role involves delivering personalised care, promoting independence, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of the individual.
Requirements:
- First Aid training
- Choking response training (Basic Life Support/Dysphagia)
- Medication administration training
- Epilepsy training
- PEG training - Essential
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexibility to work a variety of shift times on a part-time basis
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide person‑centred support within the service user’s home
- Assist with daily living tasks and personal care
- Administer medication in line with training and care plans
- Support with PEG feeding as required
- Respond appropriately to medical needs, including seizures and choking incidents
- Promote independence, dignity, and choice
- Maintain accurate records and follow all policies and procedures
