We are seeking passionate and experienced Nursery Practitioner’s; a rewarding opportunity to join a nurturing and high-performing early years setting committed to exceptional childcare has become available.
Key details:
Location: Liskeard
Hours Up to 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: A variety of shifts available between 7:15am – 6:15pm
Salary: £12.31 – £12.50 per hour
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS standards
• Support the learning and development of children aged 0–5 whilst offering a nurturing and safe environment
• Carry out observations, assessments, and maintain accurate records at all times
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues to build trust and confidence
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment
• Contribute positively to a team-focused, child-centred culture
Requirements:
• A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or 3) – unfortunately we cannot accept Health and Social Care diplomas as a relevant qualification for this role
• Solid understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practice with hands-on experience
• Strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
• A passion for supporting each child’s individual development
• Confidence using written and digital systems for observations and record keeping
