Pay Rate: £25.38 per hour (paid weekly every Friday via PAYE)
Contract Length: Initially 3 months (earlier start may be considered)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 – 19:15
Positions Available: Multiple vacancies (newly created team)
About the Role
We are recruiting for a number of Social Worker positions within a newly established team. This team will respond to referrals across a wide service area, providing timely assessments and support where needed.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new and flexible service, offering a mix of remote working and field-based visits.
Key Responsibilities
Complete Care Act assessments
Develop care and support plans
Undertake Mental Capacity Assessments and associated work
Respond to referrals and manage allocated cases efficiently
Carry out visits as required across the service areaWork to strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality practice
Essential Requirements
Qualified Social Worker with relevant registration
Strong experience in Care Act assessments and care planning
Experience completing Mental Capacity Assessments
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Flexible approach to work and travel
Full UK driving licence and access to a car
Working Arrangements
Full-time (job share may be considered)
Greater level of remote working than typical roles
Work allocated based on geographical areas
Candidates must be able to travel to visits when required
