My client, an independent supported living house in Cambridge is seeking a General Assistant. This is a Temporary role starting April 20th - May 15th 2026.
The role includes:
- Supporting independent living
- Providing high quality catering services including preparing and serving food and drinks in line with health, safety and hygiene requirements that meet the service user and organisational requirements.
- Providing high quality cleaning services including housekeeping duties within the service userβs home including all communal and private areas.
- Building and maintaining a constructive relationship with service users.
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting when supplies are low and reordering to avoid waste, ensuring cost effective continuity of services.
- Using and storing materials and equipment in accordance with health and safety requirements and relevant regulations to ensure a safe living and working environment.
- Identifying and reporting any hazards or faults to the line manager.
You must:
- Deliver high standards of customer service at all times.
- Have a good understanding of health and safety.
- Have an in-date DBS covering the adult workforce β we can assist with this at a fee of Β£65.
Hours: Monday to Friday β including bank holidays, 8am β 4.45pm. Rate: Β£12.71ph. Enhanced rates for bank holidays. We pay weekly, every Friday plus holiday.
